Biography:
Gail Kim has impressed the TNA crowd and management as one of the best female wrestlers of the world and was one of the pioneers of TNA's Knockout Division. A very talented, smart and veteran Knockout of the TNA roster, Kim has battled to the top and is known for being the first-ever TNA Knockouts Champion as well as the longest reigning TNA Knockouts Champion. She continues to prove herself in Impact Wrestling with her smartness. Although she is very talented, she can cross any limit and can be mean and dubious to remove anyone from her path to success.

Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (2005 - 2008)
Having wrestled in World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) for two years and making an impact in the women's division as a WWE Diva, Gail Kim joined WWE's rival Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA) by signing a contract with TNA on September 6, 2005. Kim debuted in TNA on October 8 edition of Impact! as a heel. She made her TNA debut during a match between America's Most Wanted and Team 3D. She attacked Team 3D, thus forming an alliance with Jeff Jarrett and America's Most Wanted. She became the valet of Jarrett and AMW and the newest member of Planet Jarrett.

Kim would cheat on America's Most Wanted's behalf throughout 2005 and 2006 during their matches to help them retain the NWA World Tag Team Championship. At Slammiversary, Kim was attacked by the debuting Sirelda. At Victory Road, Kim made her in-ring TNA debut and in-ring TNA pay-per-view debut in a six-person tag team match with America's Most Wanted against Sirelda, A.J. Styles and Christopher Daniels, with Styles and Daniels' NWA World Tag Team Championship on the line. Styles, Daniels and Sirelda won. Kim feuded with Sirelda. At Hard Justice, Kim defeated Sirelda to end the rivalry.

America's Most Wanted turned babyfaces during a patriotic rivalry against the Hispanic group Latin American Xxchange. Kim also turned babyface. The rivalry caused AMW to disband as James Storm turned on Chris Harris. On January 11, 2007 edition of Impact!, Kim was forced to manage Storm because she did not want to lose her job. At Final Resolution, Kim stood up to Storm after his match against Petey Williams. However, she was attacked by Jacqueline. Kim formed an alliance with Williams to feud with Storm and Jacqueline.

At Against All Odds, Petey Williams and Kim competed against James Storm and Jacqueline Moore in a losing effort. At Destination X, Storm and Moore defeated Williams and Kim in a Double Bullrope match. The rivalry helped Kim in establishing herself as a wrestler in TNA. At Lockdown, Kim defeated Jackie Moore in a Six Sides of Steel Cage match. On May 3 edition of Impact!, Kim defeated Moore in a Street Fight to end the rivalry. At Sacrifice, Kim prevented Moore from interfering during a Texas Death match between Chris Harris and James Storm.

At Slammiversary, Kim attacked Ms. Brooks to help Eric Young in winning his freedom from Robert Roode. Kim allied with Young to feud with Roode and Brooks, which culminated in a match between the two teams at Victory Road, which Young and Kim won. At Hard Justice, Kim rescued Eric Young from being tarred and feathered by Robert Roode and Ms. Brooks. Young and Kim chased Roode and tarred and feathered Brooks.

Kim started competing as a top Knockout of TNA and started helping establish a separate Knockout wrestling division in TNA. At Bound for Glory, Kim participated in a Gauntlet match for the newly created TNA Knockouts Championship as the #8 entrant. She last eliminated Roxxi Laveaux to win the Gauntlet and become the first-ever TNA Knockouts Champion. On October 18 edition of Impact!, the new champion was presented with a new championship belt.

At Turning Point, Kim defeated Kong to retain the championship by disqualification. Entering 2008, Kim successfully defended the championship against Kong in a No Disqualification match at Final Resolution in January. On January 10 (taped January 7) edition of Impact!, Kim lost the championship to Kong. Kim's reign ended at 85 days.

At Destination X, Kim competed against Awesome Kong and ODB in a Three Way match for the TNA Knockouts Championship. Kong retained the championship after Raisha Saeed tripped ODB. At Lockdown, Kim and ODB defeated Awesome Kong and Raisha Saeed. At Sacrifice, Kim last eliminated Roxxi Laveaux to win a Knockouts Makeover Battle Royal for a future TNA Knockouts Championship opportunity. On May 15 edition of Impact!, Kim unsuccessfully challenged Awesome Kong for the championship when Angelina Love attacked Kim, resulting in a rivalry between Kim and Beautiful People.

At Slammiversary, Kim teamed with ODB and Roxxi to defeat Moose and Beautiful People in a six-woman tag team match. As a result, Kim began a rivalry with Beautiful People member Angelina Love, which culminated in a match between the two at Victory Road. On July 17 edition of Impact!, Kim participated in a Gauntlet for the Gold for a future TNA Knockouts Championship match as the #1 entrant. She was eliminated by Velvet Sky for the win.

At Hard Justice, Taylor Wilde, Kim and ODB defeated Awesome Kong and Beautiful People in a six-woman tag team match. On August 21 edition of Impact!, Kim competed in her last TNA match, losing to Awesome Kong in a Street Fight. Kim's TNA contract expired and she left TNA to return to WWE.

After wrestling for two years as a WWE Diva, Kim made her surprise return to TNA on October 20 edition of Impact Wrestling as a heel by attacking Velvet Sky and forming an alliance with Madison Rayne and the Knockouts Commissioner Karen Jarrett. The following week, on October 27 edition of Impact Wrestling, Kim defeated Tara in her first TNA match in three years.

On November 3 (taped October 26) edition of Impact Wrestling, Kim and Madison Rayne defeated TnT to win the TNA Knockouts Tag Team Championship after Karen Jarrett distracted the referee and Kim delivered an Eat Defeat to Tara. At Turning Point, Kim defeated Velvet Sky to win her second TNA Knockouts Championship after interference by her allies Madison Rayne and Karen Jarrett. Kim became a double champion and rose back to the top of the Knockouts division.

After winning the TNA Knockouts Championship, Kim began a rivalry with Mickie James. At Final Resolution, Kim successfully defended the championship against James after interference by Madison Rayne. On December 29 edition of Impact Wrestling, Kim defeated James in a rematch to retain the championship after Rayne delivered a Rayne Drop to James. Entering 2012, Kim successfully defended the championship against James by disqualification at Genesis.
